Gorgeous Nylon floral Set

Hey there,
As i am posting my craft works after a  short break of couple of months, i am just questioning myself where was i and what was i doing all these days...

Ohh you know what... all of a sudden i have developed interest over reading tamil historic novels and stories of world famous revolutionists.... in the past couple of months i have completed reading Amarar Kalki's Ponniyin Selvan & Sivakamiyin Sabatham, Chandilyan's 'Mannan Magal'... Now am reading Maruthan's 'Simma Soppanam'( History of Cuban Revolutionists Fidel Castro and Che Guevera) and also Chandilyan's 'Yavana Rani'... both are quite interesting...

Ohh i could hear your mind voice that ...'enough girl... enough blowing your own trumpet'... hahahha :)

Again am back with my lovely nylon flowers... these red coloured flowers and their buds are soooo gorgeous and sooo soothing feast to the eyes... aren't they??

I made this cute ganesha with m-seal for this year's Ganesh Chathurthi... After i coloured this cutie, i fell in love with this chotta ganesh... hope u people also would fall for him... :)

Kerala Mural Painting - Ardhanaarishwarar

Hi All,

Here is my next painting  'Ardhanaarishwarar' of Kerala Mural painting style.
Ardhanaarishwarar is a form of  Shiva and his consort Shakthi....
This is a temple painting style found in Kerala...usually painted only using panchavarnas... i.e red, yellow, green, black an white... (primary colours and their shades)...
I was highly fascinated by this art and longing to try this kind of painting for a very long time... but being a beginner I was little reluctant considering the difficult minute works in this...

Though it consumed more time (days) for me to complete, i am completely satisfied with the final result... it is absolutely divine...

Elegant Stocking Flower - Lilly

I am becoming crazy these days on making flowers out of stocking cloth....

i gifted this to my project manager as a token of respect.... small yet precious one...
this may look simple but it took 3 long hours for me to make as i am a beginner in this art...

Glass Painting - Romantic love birds

Hey All,
I am back with a glass painting.... :)
this painting was done based on an order from my office friends Berchmans and Vivian...
they wanted to gift something unique to our friends (loving couple) 'Anto and Blessy' for their wedding...
I felt love birds would be a perect gift for them because they are well noted for their deep affection between partners... those gorgeous purple flowers and romantic red heart shaped outline adds glamour to the painting... what more can i say??

Golden tree

This golden tree is also called as Money tree / Vastu tree... the general belief is to bring all wealth and happiness to the family...

However, I have no idea about vastu... I just made it because it is very easy to make... :-)

Hope you guys also make this tree to bring more money to you.... hahaha  :-)

Tile Painting - Fruit Basket

Dear All, Just thought of painting on a tile since a while... and thought fruit basket would be a better choice... I could place it in my kitchen...what say?? though the tile colour is dark, the painiting came out well... isn't it??

This art was done by my Brother Boopathy who is an excellent artist...great at free hand drawing... i should also learn the knack of free hand drawing from him...

I feel the colour combo of blue and green background (representing the shades of sea, forest, river along with mountain) is adding beauty to the bird...
Also, the framed image looks great with crushed aluminium foil background... isn't it ??

This is my first attempt on using acrylic paint on canvas board. This Ganesh ji is very very close to my heart as it really came out very well... stone work is adding more beauty to Ganesh ji...This wall hanging is giving an athestic look to our hall... :)
