Valentine Silhoutte Art

First of all, What is Silhoutte? -- the dark shape against a brighter background....

Did this Silhoutte couple painting and sold it to my friend Berchmans... He gifted this beautiful painting to his best friend on her wedding day...

I completed this painting within a short span due to time constraint  and got it framed super fast with my dear hubby's help....

You know what, this is his second order  ;)....Thanks to my friend for motivating me...

I hope my friend is happy with my work... how about you people?? :-)

Enchanting Ganesha Key Holder

I was overwhelmed with joy ever since i conceived this idea of making different forms of Ganesha in a Key Holder.
I had put in my valuable efforts at odd hours with great zeal to create this lovely set of Ganeshas.
I just loved making this piece of art simply for the reason that i would gift this to my affectionate uncle Kumar.
I am highly excited that my enchanting art flew to UK and decorating my Uncle's home.. Hope my  cutie pie cousins (Preethi, Varsha and Megha) adores these endearing Ganesha..
May Ganesha shower his eternal blessings to his lovely family...

Here goes the making steps....

Materials Needed : Wooden Cut out, Key Hooks, Ceramic Powder, Fevicol,MSeal, Acrylic Paints, Painting Brush, Varnish

1) Get the wooden (plywood / MDF board) cut out in a shape of your choice with Carpenter's help.
2) Get the desirable number of key hooks fixed
3) Coat a layer of 'ceramic powder+ Fevicol+ few water drops' paste

4) After letting the above layer to dry partly, dust it with ceramic powder here and there just for an embossed effect.

5) Before the layer completely dries, create textures of your choice (i have dabbed using comb, pen backside, feviglue, sponge etc)
6) Make different forms of ganesha images using M-Seal on the dried layer

7) Paint the background with acrylic Red+little black, images with metallic gold (i used gold powder with black paint), center image with metallic dessert gold and center background with lemon yellow.
8) Just to give antique effect, paint the outlines with a faint shade of black.

9) Give one or two coatings of varnish for glossy effect and let it dry.

10) Completed art work is ready to hang/gift.

Ganesha Diya Decoration

Ohh its been a long time, i am crafting something for an outside order. One of my colleagues Ashok, got much impressed with my art work ( am i exaggerating?... Yes, I am :-) ) and ordered a decorated Diya. He gifted this lovely Ganesha Diya to his Darling Wife Gowshi on this Pongal occasion.... So sweet, isn't it?

DIY: Get the Diya, Paint the intricate designs with care, Give a coat of varnish, Wrap it and Gift it…Cool… J

Key Holder

I  love the peacock feather design and wanted to try something with that.. My darling niece Manthra was dressed up like Lord Krishna during her 1st birthday celebrations... So this idea flashed in my mind to create a  key holder with her Krishna photo in the middle... This has got the shape of peacock feather, butter pot and flute... found this image in the net and personalized with my touch...

This cute key holder is a sweet gift to my lovable niece Manthra and Meenu kutty for their new house.... howz it?

I have done another one similar to it for my dearest friend Anitha's kiddo Anishvika's ... could not get a picture of keyholder with Anishi's photo.... this was gifted to her with loads of love... :)

Ganesha - Royal Rock Band

Hello Buddies..

Have become quite busy with my kiddo these days.... and could find no time for my craft works...
These cute and adorable musical Ganeshas were made before a couple of months and took these long for me to upload here...

Whenever i try my hands on any new kind of art style, i start wth Ganesha only as we can depict him in any form of our choice...

The cute elephant headed ganesha is my all time favourite God especially bala(little) ganesha... i just adore his childish and innocent face with more powerful and mesmerizing eyes.. i love him because he is also having big pot belly just like my sweet dad...

Credit goes to my dear mom as well for her generous help... without her help, i would not have managed to involve in this with a 2 month old baby...

Here is my creation for your view...Ganesha playing different music instruments... "Ganesha - Rock Band"... they are all made of M-Seal.. I have gifted this to my wonderful friend Raji with a great joy ....These Royal Music Masters are sitting majestically in my friend's new home now....
