Enchanting Ganesha Key Holder

I was overwhelmed with joy ever since i conceived this idea of making different forms of Ganesha in a Key Holder.
I had put in my valuable efforts at odd hours with great zeal to create this lovely set of Ganeshas.
I just loved making this piece of art simply for the reason that i would gift this to my affectionate uncle Kumar.
I am highly excited that my enchanting art flew to UK and decorating my Uncle's home.. Hope my  cutie pie cousins (Preethi, Varsha and Megha) adores these endearing Ganesha..
May Ganesha shower his eternal blessings to his lovely family...

Here goes the making steps....

Materials Needed : Wooden Cut out, Key Hooks, Ceramic Powder, Fevicol,MSeal, Acrylic Paints, Painting Brush, Varnish

1) Get the wooden (plywood / MDF board) cut out in a shape of your choice with Carpenter's help.
2) Get the desirable number of key hooks fixed
3) Coat a layer of 'ceramic powder+ Fevicol+ few water drops' paste

4) After letting the above layer to dry partly, dust it with ceramic powder here and there just for an embossed effect.

5) Before the layer completely dries, create textures of your choice (i have dabbed using comb, pen backside, feviglue, sponge etc)
6) Make different forms of ganesha images using M-Seal on the dried layer

7) Paint the background with acrylic Red+little black, images with metallic gold (i used gold powder with black paint), center image with metallic dessert gold and center background with lemon yellow.
8) Just to give antique effect, paint the outlines with a faint shade of black.

9) Give one or two coatings of varnish for glossy effect and let it dry.

10) Completed art work is ready to hang/gift.

Ganesha Diya Decoration

Ohh its been a long time, i am crafting something for an outside order. One of my colleagues Ashok, got much impressed with my art work ( am i exaggerating?... Yes, I am :-) ) and ordered a decorated Diya. He gifted this lovely Ganesha Diya to his Darling Wife Gowshi on this Pongal occasion.... So sweet, isn't it?

DIY: Get the Diya, Paint the intricate designs with care, Give a coat of varnish, Wrap it and Gift it…Cool… J
